History

From its origins as a small sheet metal workshop in Cowdenbeath, James C Gillespie (Engineering) Limited has grown into one of Scotland’s leading suppliers of components and sheet metal fabrications.

 

Originally started by James C Gillespie in Cowdenbeath in the late 1950’s the business had its formative years in Cowdenbeath before moving to a custom built, 20,000 sq ft facility in Kirkcaldy in 1990.  Whilst the Gillespie family have since retired from the business many of their key values and employees are still a mainstay of the business now.
